Michael bosanko is a light Graffiti artist, to create his art photography he used many different sources of light such as torches, fire, stander bulbs and LEDs. As we know the speed of light is quick, to fast for i eyes to capture a image like this, however on the camera you can. on the camera you have a setting called shutter speed which creates a long or short exposure. Michael bosanko has used a long exposure to capture the light of the torches , fire, etc.
This picture here shows long exposure, i can tell this because michael has used a lot of lighting in this picture to create shapes around the vehicle, to create a lot of light (shapes) within a picture you need a long exposure.
In my opinion michael has used object to attach his light devices on to, to make a sharp edge like a square as he has shown in this picture.
i would estimate that Michaels aperture was approximately f/16 because the foreground and background are both in focus. And also i think that his shutter speed would be very slow due to the fact that michael uses a lot of light in his picture which considers a lot of time to get it perfect, michael has been know to use a shutter speed of an hour , because he has to take his time with the lighting and to also get it perfect, therefore michael would have to use a tripod otherwise the images would be extremely blurry due to the fact that you would get camera shake where your hand would be moving a camera and also an hour is very long to try to hold and camera perfectly still.
michael discovered this technique of "light graffiti" by accident, when he was taking a picture of the moon, but the camera shake caused the moon to make a streak in the picture, as michael discover this, he tried writing his partners name by using nothing but the moonshine and the movement of the camera in my hand. when he discovered it work he continued to used light in his photography.

LOIS GREENFIELD.
Lois Greenfield's inspiration has always been photography's ability to stop time and reveal what the naked eye cannot see. Lois uses movement in her photography by taking pictures of people dancing, however this does not mean she just sits with a camera and continues to take pictures of their dance, but she focuses on fast movement that we can see but not fully capture in our minds. Like you can see in this picture on the side, the subject matter is dancers jumping into the air which in motion we can see but not see the full detail, this is why lois greenfield capture these images to show us things we cannot see with are eyes in full detail.
lois greenfield would take her pictures in a studio so that her pictures do not have background making the subject matter the centre of attention in the picture. To have created these images lois would have her camera set up on a tripod using a high shutter speed, she would have used a tripod to be accurate with the positioning of the dancers when they jump, to make sure that their movement would be captured not cut out of frame. Because the dancer are moving the camera would have to set to a high shutter speed to capture them in the air as if frozen in the moment.
